This page contains information and images of the various pre-release (promotional) items for the album Brain Thrust Mastery by the band We Are Scientists.

Named and Numbered Press Release:

A promo where each release had an induvidually numbered and named printed paper sleeve released in a plastic wallet. There appears to be two versions, a reflective acetate version and a white version more like a CDR. Renee is the only person of my knowledge who owns the second variety. Below is the reflective version:

Astralwerks Inhouse Acetate Promo CD:

Apparently an in-house promo acetate featuring the finished album provided in a clear fronted jewel case with back artwork, different to the actual release.

‘Promo Promo Promo’ Card Sleeve Promo:

A card sleeve promo for the album with the release artwork, except, the words ‘Brain Thrust Mastery’ has been changed to ‘Promo Promo Promo’.

Astralwerks Promotional CD:

A finished CD with a hole through the barcode and a box detailing promotional use on the actual disc.

Japan Promotional Sampler CD:

Idential to the Japan release except featuring a numbered sample sticker on the rear of the case and a promotional only text printed around the inner disc.
