About
This is a small blog i’m keeping to follow my slowly growing collection of the fantastic band We Are Scientists collection. While this blog is mainly to keep track of my collection, I’m also hoping I can provide a discography for this much deserving band, in an otherwise sadly lacking world!
The blog is therefore split into two main sections, the home page for me to keep track of my collection and the discography itself that i’m gradually added to can (not surprisingly) be found under the discpography tab at the top of each page.
I will point out that this isn’t a blog for news on the band, for that you want to visit the awesome What’s The Word run fantastically by Renee! Who’s site was the inspiration for me to start my own little blog. I do intend to add news to the home page whether on releases or just anything related to the discography!
I hope as people visit this blog any other fans who collect will get in contact! There is lots of stuff from the band I don’t own and any contributions of photos and information to the blog is greatly appreciated and credit will be given.
Similarly if anyone has any items they’re interested in selling, leave a comment or email me at wasikicollection@gmail.comĀ and i’ll most likely be interested or else, point you in the direction of someone who is!
I’ve only been running this blog for a couple of months but I really hope it can grow and become some benefit to the fans out there.
Thanks,
Pete
I recently came across a WAS 12″ at a local record store. I wasn’t sure what this was because it basically is just a black 12″ with a white center and the WAS logo. The case is solid black all around. I went through a few sites in hopes of figuring out what this was, but I had no luck. Then I came across this site. I saw the post with pictures of your collection and noticed the item I bought was in your collection. So basically I’m asking if you have any info on this you could send my way.
Thank You.

Hi Adam,
Thanks for the comment. That sounds like the Chick Lit Remixes Promo Vinyl.
(Full details on this page: http://wasiki.wordpress.com/discography/brain-thrust-mastery/chick-lit/)
Basically it’s a promotional vinyl, usually given to DJs/radio stations, there are 3 tracks:
Side A:
Chick Lit (Danger TV Remix) by Danger(7)
Side B:
Chick Lit (Danger TV Dub) by Danger(7)
Chick Lit (Matt helders Remix) by Matt Helders
Hope this helps,
Pete
